Rev. Dr. Denise M. Wooten-Troutman was born in East Orange, New Jersey. She is a mother, grandmother (Mom-Mom), sister, aunt, great aunt, god mother, certified educator for more than twenty five years in the New Jersey school systems, which includes instructing at Camden County College’s UpWard Bound Program for more than fourteen years and eventually became an Adjunct Professor at the Camden Branch for several years.
She is an Evangelist, Senior Pastor/Educator of Workmen Devoted To Edifying the Body Of Christ Evangelistic Church Inc., professional historical and Christian character dramatist, drama instructor, motivational speaker , coordinator, entrepreneur, and founder/CEO of DeMi Woo-T LLC and Love Calling: No Longer Bound Conference Hostess, and Living Dream Restoration Acres (Outreach Alternative Outreach Center). She is a graduate of Montclair State University, Deliverance Evangelistic Bible Institute , Accelerated School of Christian Ministry International, Inc., Lancaster Bible College. She studied at Palmer Theological Seminary (formally Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary) and Drew University, Theatre of Universal Images, Henry Street Settlement Playhouse and Freedom Theatre. She received numerous awards throughout her teaching career and community service: Kappa Alpha Psi Community Development Award, Dr. Martin Luther King Camden County Freedom Medal Of Honor Award, Boy Scouts Of America Cradle of Liberty Council: The Russell C. Hill Award, The Grace Be Given Ministry and Mercer County Ecumenical Group Award of Christian Women: Esther Award: For Such Time As This. On August 7, 2015, The United Methodist Church Of Greater New Jersey Commission On Religion And Race Healing Communities certified her as Trainer. On August 8, 2015, she successfully completed her written and oral exam for Accelerated School Of Christian Ministry International / Lancaster Bible College. She was extremely elated to be conferred with her Doctorate of Ministry Science Honorius Causa at New Beginnings United Methodist Church, Camden, New Jersey on October 18, 2015. Moreover, her primary objective is to encourage people to live complete and fulfilling lives regardless of their age, race or economic status…striving never to faint!
